Cape Le Grand National Park, approximately 50 km east of Esperance via sealed roads, is renowned for its stunning beaches like Lucky Bay and Le Grand Beach. These campgrounds are equipped with basic amenities, including toilets and sheltered picnic areas. It’s important to note that advance bookings are essential, especially during the warmer months when demand is high. Reservations can be made through the Explore Parks WA website.
For those preferring a more rustic experience, the Shire of Esperance manages several low-cost bush camps, such as Quagi Beach and Munglinup Beach. These sites offer basic facilities and are perfect for travellers seeking a peaceful, off-grid experience without venturing far from the main roads.

Our Story
Vanrachy Freedom Hire was born from a love of freedom, nature and the open road. When Covid ended my job in tourism, I bought a van, hit the road and studied sustainable tourism from the backseat, reconnecting with the essence of travel.
In 2024, I landed in Esperance, captivated by its raw beauty. Renting out my van, Mr Percival, showed me just how many others craved that same van life experience. Vanarchy was created to connect adventurers with the freedom to explore Esperance in comfort and style. It’s more than a rental—it’s your road to freedom.
